Description

We seek exceptional candidates to lead vigorous independent research programs in the fields of systems physiology and bioelectronic medicine, investigating the dynamic interplay among physiological systems, such as the nervous system, the immune system and target tissues, under both normal and pathological conditions. We are particularly interested in candidates who are developing physical tools, such as electrical, thermal, magnetic, and ultrasound stimulation techniques, for disease modulation and health promotion. Competitive candidates must hold Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degrees, outstanding research accomplishments, innovative future research plan, ability to achieve teaching excellence at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive community in the practice and teaching of science.
