Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Candidates must have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences
- Demonstrated expertise with a publication record in at least three of the following areas:
- Hematopoiesis: e.g. stem and progenitor cells, bone marrow microenvironment/niche cells Cell biology and cell imaging: e.g. cell culture, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy Molecular biology: e.g. plasmid cloning, CRISPR gene editing Animal studies with rodents: e.g. transplantation, survival surgery, in vivo imaging.
- Minimum of two first-author primary research articles in international journals
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Inherent self-drive and motivation to pursue high quality research
- Evidence of collaboration and mentoring of others
