Assistant Manager Wholesale Acceptance

BMW Financial Services is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager for Wholesale Acceptance. In this role, you will be pivotal in reviewing credit line applications from BMW dealerships to support our wholesale business. You will also lead group reviews and present findings to credit committees.

What You'll Do:

• Credit Review Processing: Ensure timely and comprehensive processing of wholesale credit reviews. Your analysis will cover the dealerships’ financial health, operational status, and risk factors, with well-proposed mitigations for any identified risks.
• Holistic Credit Proposals: Develop credit proposals that balance front office business development needs with back office risk mitigation strategies to secure appropriate credit lines.
• Leadership and Coordination: Lead a team of credit analysts, overseeing group credit reviews and coordinating with area managers to streamline the review process.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with both front and back office departments to ensure a seamless credit review process.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial finance, including roles in banking, risk management, audit, credit, accounting, or controlling.
• Strong financial analysis skills and solid knowledge of accounting/finance.
• Fluent in English, with excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ownership spirit and strong interpersonal skills.
