Position: Molecular Pathologist

The Department of Pathology at Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Molecular Pathologist with an MD or MD/PhD. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical and academic excellence, with experience in high-volume, multidisciplinary molecular pathology laboratories, preferably within a university or clinical setting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and expand our Clinical Molecular Pathology program.
  • Collaborate with clinical trials and research investigators.
  • Engage in basic or applied molecular pathology research.
  • Mentor residents and fellows in our esteemed education programs.
  • Contribute to innovative biomarker testing to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

  • MD or MD/PhD with subspecialty molecular pathology fellowship.
  • Molecular pathology clinical board specialty certification.
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida.
  • Experience in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, or directing a molecular pathology laboratory is highly desired.
