Job Summary:

The Clinical Services & Training Manager plays a pivotal role in the Central allcove Team (CaT) at the Center for Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing (CYMHW) within Stanford’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. This role is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, youth-centered mental health services across the allcove network and in developing and implementing training and knowledge mobilization systems to support the program's successful expansion.

As the Clinical Services & Training Manager, you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to provide clinical expertise in youth mental health and ensure the allcove program’s quality and safety. You will lead the clinical team in administering and developing the allcove model, ensuring seamless delivery of mental health and substance use services to youth and young adults. This role also involves providing clinical leadership for service delivery, outcomes evaluation, and care planning, acting as a clinical resource for all allcove sites, staff, students, and the interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently implement, administer, and evaluate daily activities of the allcove program, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and managing resources to achieve program goals.
  • Collect and analyze data, generate reports, and review trends to develop recommendations for achieving program objectives. Provide verbal and written evaluations of clinical model adherence.
  • Support the execution, enhancement, and reporting of the allcove data management system (datacove), including managing clinical score cutoffs and reviewing trends.
  • Serve as the expert resource for the allcove integrated clinical care model, promoting adherence through ongoing training and communication.
  • Lead the design, planning, and delivery of training, workshops, conferences, and resources to support learning across the allcove network (Learning Community).
  • Coordinate clinical direction and feedback for service delivery and clinical pathways.
  • Represent the allcove program as the key contact and subject matter expert, both within the department and externally at the state, national, and international levels.
  • Organize and participate in outreach activities, including developing and delivering curricula for the allcove network through various platforms.
  • Assist in introducing and expanding clinical innovations and new approaches across the allcove network, and contribute to community-based translational research, dissemination, consulting, and writing articles on allcove.
  • May participate in budget development, monitor expenditures, and provide recommendations for budgeting.
  • Direct staff in performing various tasks, including hiring, orienting, and providing ongoing training to allcove clinical and program staff; lead change management for new approaches.
  • Collaborate with youth, young adults, and international partners to develop best practices for allcove clinical care and youth mental health in the U.S. and internationally.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or doctorate-level clinician (social work, marriage & family therapy, psychology, drug and alcohol counseling) with relevant expertise in working with adolescents and/or young adults.
  • Experience in clinical healthcare workforce development.
  • Experience managing direct service provision to young people, particularly in underserved or vulnerable populations, and implementing mental health services or programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise on leadership and management processes, including multidisciplinary initiatives and partnerships with various professionals and organizations.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance systems and continuous quality improvement processes, including data systems, policy development, evaluation, and risk management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the California healthcare system, particularly in behavioral health and primary care, including the professionals and organizations involved in the sector.

Education & Experience (Required):

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
