Join Dr. Wei Wang's cutting-edge research team at the forefront of developing intelligent microrobotics. Our focus lies in integrating integrated circuits with micro/nanoscale actuators to advance the field of microrobotics.

Research Areas:

  1. Intelligent Micro-Robot Manufacturing and Circuit Design:
    Design and develop integrated circuits tailored for micro-robots, leveraging micro/nano fabrication technologies such as photolithography. Contribute to the creation of walking micro-robots and intelligent microfluidic systems.
  2. Innovation in Micro-Actuators:
    Explore and develop novel micro-actuators, study their operational principles, and integrate them with circuits to create specialized microstructures.
  3. Mechanical Behavior of Micro/Nano Structures:
    Investigate 3D micro/nano structures using origami techniques, analyze the collective behavior of micro/nano robots, and study fluid-structure interactions, such as those found in artificial cilia.

Requirements:

  1. Ph.D. in electronics, mechanics, materials science, physics, chemistry, or related fields.
  2. Proven ability to independently conduct research and publish high-quality academic papers.
  3. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate harmoniously with team members.
  4. Willingness to assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in supervising research projects and experimental work within the group.
  5. Must be under 35 years of age.

Compensation and Benefits:

  1. Competitive and negotiable salary, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The team will support applications for relevant projects and programs.

Funding Opportunities:

  1. Postdocs receive a living allowance and research funding from the Hangzhou municipal government.
  2. Additional funding available for recipients of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation or the Zhejiang Province Selected Funding for Postdoctoral Research Projects, with matching contributions from the Hangzhou municipal government.
  3. Postdocs working full-time in Hangzhou after completing their research are eligible for a 400,000 RMB allowance from the Hangzhou municipal government.
  4. New Ph.D. graduates working full-time in Hangzhou can apply for a 100,000 RMB living allowance, with eligibility extending to those who studied abroad and returned to China within five years, as well as foreign talent.
  5. High-level talent recognized in Hangzhou enjoys preferential policies.
