Position Overview:

Dr. Venuprasad Poojary's laboratory in the Department of Internal Medicine and Immunology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking motivated individuals for multiple positions, including Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Scientist, and Research Assistant roles. The lab focuses on cancer immunology and inflammation using mouse models, with recent research published in high-impact journals (e.g., Nature Communications, Cell Reports, Trends in Immunology, Nature Immunology). The goal of our research is to identify key regulatory mechanisms within immune cells that control inflammation and target these pathways for therapeutic benefit.

Available Positions:

1. Research Scientist:

• Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in any branch of biological sciences.
  • 2-5 years of postdoctoral training.

2. Postdoctoral Fellow:

• Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in any branch of biological sciences.

3. Research Assistant:

• Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in any branch of biological sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on immune regulation and inflammation using mouse models.
• Collaborate with the research team to design experiments and interpret results.
• Contribute to ongoing projects and potentially lead new initiatives.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
