Higginbotham, a privately held independent insurance and financial services firm ranked within the top 20 nationwide, is seeking a Commercial Insurance Client Service Manager for our Houston, TX office.

Position Overview

The Commercial Lines Client Service Manager will assist producers and clients in maintaining insurance coverage for commercial lines of insurance. Key responsibilities include processing and invoicing policies, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.

Essential Tasks:

  • Prepare endorsement requests to send to insurance carriers.
  • Follow up on receipt of endorsements to existing policies.
  • Process endorsements, including invoicing and delivery to clients.
  • Handle audits, verifying rates, exposures, and prior premiums.
  • Manage cancellations and billing issues.
  • Communicate with staff and clients to gather necessary information for policy changes.
  • Adhere to agency procedures.
  • Provide technical support to Marketing Executives and Producers as needed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.

  • Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office products.

  • Commitment to continuous learning.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in property and casualty servicing preferred.
  • Property and Casualty license required (the company will assist in obtaining licensure if needed).
  • EPIC (AMS) experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with other AMS or CRM software preferred, but not required.
