Description

Targa has an immediate opening for an ES&H Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator as a member of the ES&H Training group. This position is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the ES&H department's Learning Management System (LMS) to meet all regulatory compliance needs while ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Additionally, the administrator will assist in managing, designing, developing, coordinating, and reporting on corporate and local safety training programs.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  1. LMS Administration
    • Oversee and maintain the LMS to meet regulatory compliance needs.
    • Manage training records and associated templates to ensure complete documentation.
    • Create and publish online/instructor-led courses and training curricula.
    • Interact with other systems teams to manage the LMS and third-party content, user accounts, and security roles.
    • Maintain data integrity rules and processes for the LMS, including course descriptions and changes.
    • Provide training and technical support to users, supervisors, and administrators.
    • Assist with strategic planning and lead course creation for the LMS.
    • Generate and analyze data reports for internal stakeholders.
  2. Safety Training Management
    • Assist in creating and scheduling training plans and programs (outsourced/internal).
    • Support the development of training management standards and process maps.
    • Aid in preparing compliance training materials and site-specific training.
    • Monitor progress of training programs to ensure timely completion.
    • Keep stakeholders informed of training project status, updates, and changes.
    • Provide strategic input for corporate and site-specific training development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Education, Training, or a related technical field.
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
  • Education or work-related experience in training or a related field.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and training methods.
  • Experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training initiatives.
  • Proven ability to complete the full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate).
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to interface with teams, personnel, and vendors.
  • Organized, detail-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently with direction and resources.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors LMS.
  • Experience in content creation tools.
  • Previous experience in a safety and health role with knowledge of applicable regulations (e.g., OSHA).
  • Experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
