Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our remote team. The BDE will play a critical role in achieving customer acquisition and revenue growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and current customers. This position requires travel and is suited for someone with a strong sales background in the transportation and logistics industry.
Responsibilities
- Generate prospective customer lists and qualify leads through cold calls and email.
- Develop and execute personalized sales strategies for qualified prospects and existing accounts.
- Prepare and deliver sales pitches, presentations, and proposals to customers.
- Run outbound sales and marketing campaigns to create opportunities and improve branding.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to develop account service and pricing strategies.
- Ensure excellent customer service through regular engagement and support.
- Meet and exceed all key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Passionate about selling with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
- 3 years of direct sales experience; experience in transportation sales is a plus.
- Strong territory management and strategic prospecting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Requirements
- College degree preferred or HS diploma with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Must have a dedicated office space to conduct work professionally.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
