Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the pedagogical leader for the MYP (Grades 6-10), ensuring effective planning, teaching, and assessment.
• Liaise with the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) and coordinate the MYP authorization and evaluation processes.
• Foster a culture of inquiry and international-mindedness among students and staff.
• Oversee professional development initiatives, workshops, and in-house training sessions.
• Maintain open communication with students, parents, teachers, and other administrators.
• Supervise all faculty and staff as assigned, ensuring a disciplined and positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of teaching experience in grades 6-12 and 5+ years in educational leadership roles (Assistant Principal, Department Chair, etc.).
• Education: Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or Curriculum/Instruction (candidates nearing completion are encouraged to apply).
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in technology, and the ability to lead and inspire a diverse community.
• Preferred: Experience with IB MYP and DP, international school settings, and a commitment to promoting student engagement and success.
