Description
My laboratory recently moved from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital to Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. I am looking for an ambitious postdoctoral researcher to work on a project to understand the mechanisms by which environmental factors such as diabetes and obesity regulate cancer incidence and penetrance. Qualifications:
Essential
• Ph.D. training in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology.
• Self-motivated, well-organized and strong commitment to ethical scientific research and discovery.
• Expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology methods.
• Interest in biochemistry and metabolism and a record of research achievements and scholarly activity.
Desirable
• Experience with mouse models of cancer, diabetes/metabolic syndrome.
• Knowledge of bioinformatics, programming language, analysis of omics data.
