Yew Chung College of Early Childhood Education (YCCECE) is the first and only specialist Early Childhood Education (ECE) institution in Hong Kong founded in 2018 by the Yew Chung Education Foundation (YCEF), an established non-profit organization with almost 90 years of pioneering history in Early Childhood and international education. An educator well head of her times, Madam Tsang Chor-hang founded the first Yew Chung School and Kindergarten in Hong Kong in 1932. In the 1990s, Yew Chung was invited to Shanghai and Beijing to open schools to meet the needs of foreign communities in mainland China. Madame Tsang was succeeded by her daughter, Dr Betty Chan Po-king and Professor Paul Yip Kwok-wah, who founded Yew Wah International Education Schools to continue the mission in preparing Chinese students on a personal journey of growth with international perspectives. Celebrating nearly 90 years of heritage and milestones, Yew Chung and Yew Wah pedigree now completes the cycle from early childhood to tertiary education.
