About BASIS International School Park Lane Harbour
Nestled in the hills of a master-planned beach community in the municipality of Huizhou, BASIS International School Park Lane Harbour opened in 2018, and celebrated its first full graduating class in 2022. The serene campus boasts excellent facilities, including state-of-the-art classrooms, soccer field and track, gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, expansive library, black-box theater, boarding facilities for students, alongside beautiful views. Teacher accommodations are located nearby, with easy access to the beach and outdoor activities. Park Lane Harbour is also a one and a half hour car ride from Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
At BASIS, we believe students can achieve authentic learning through robust challenges. From middle school onwards, our students engage in advanced coursework, setting high expectations while establishing a solid foundation in core subjects, revisiting and reinforcing concepts in greater depth each year to prepare for entry into honors and Advanced Placement levels starting in ninth grade. As an AP English Language and Literature teacher, you build upon this strong foundation, deepening students' understanding of the subject while preparing them for success in AP testing.

Work Experience
Who We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5).
- Experience: At least two years as the lead teacher in a classroom, a requirement for obtaining a working visa.

Overview
BASIS International Schools is a part of the BASIS Curriculum network of schools in the United States and worldwide. The first BASIS International School opened in Shenzhen, China in 2015 as the largest opening of an international school in south China history. Our network of schools continues to expand with BASIS International School Guangzhou opening in 2017, BASIS International School Park Lane Harbour and Hangzhou in 2018, BASIS International School Nanjing and BASIS International School Bangkok in 2019. The first bilingual school in our network opened in September 2020: BASIS Bilingual School Shenzhen. In 2022, BASIS International & Bilingual Schools Chengdu became our first campus to house both international and bilingual programs.
