Environmental Science/Renewable Energy positions (Ref:FST240415)

Beijing Normal University – Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC) invites applications for the following position, expected to be filled by September 2024:

Job Description: We seek candidates with expertise in Environmental Science and Renewable Energy, particularly in Renewable Energy Technologies and Management, and Green Technologies. Cross-disciplinary experience, especially in Material Sciences in Environment and Energy, Resources and Waste Management, and Environmental Pollution Control, will be advantageous. Candidates will be expected to teach a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English, including but not limited to Renewable Energy Technologies, Green Technologies and Laboratory, Carbon Management, Energy Usage and Sustainability, Modern Materials, General Chemistry, Land Contamination and Remediation, and Solid Waste Management. Additionally, teaching environmental-related courses for General Education is required.

Job Requirement: Applicants should possess a PhD degree in a relevant discipline. The successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Preference will be given to candidates with a track record of independent research resulting in significant contributions, such as publications in high-quality, internationally recognized, indexed journals, and scholarly presses. Academic rank will be determined based on experience and accomplishments.
