    1. School Overview: The School of Basic Medical Sciences, a cornerstone of the Health Science Center since 1954, stands as a premier institution for basic medical education and research in China. Comprising 16 departments (institutes), including national key laboratories and internationally advanced research bases, the school boasts a distinguished faculty. This faculty includes 6 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, 20 recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, and 18 recipients of the Excellent Young Scientists Fund. Annually, the school publishes over 400 scientific research papers, including articles in top-tier journals such as Science, Nature, Cell, NEJM, and Nature Medicine. To accelerate the "Double First-Class" construction, we aim to attract outstanding talents to further the development of the School of Basic Medical Sciences at Peking University Health Science Center. Faculty positions adopt the Tenure-track system, offering generous support in research start-up funds, laboratory conditions, research teams, and compensation.

    2. Recruiting Disciplines: The School of Basic Medical Sciences at Peking University seeks high-level leading talents in various fields of biomedicine, with a focus on pathology, microcirculation, biochemistry, embryology and development, neuroscience, etc.

    • Hold a doctoral degree from home or abroad with a solid research training background.
    • Have obtained a tenure-track associate professorship or above in leading universities abroad or a senior professional title in domestic key research institutions.
    • Achieve highly impactful representative research outcomes in relevant fields with ongoing active academic performance.
    • Possess an international perspective and strategic thinking for discipline development, capable of leading the discipline.
    • Priority appointment for recipients of talent programs.
