    The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is seeking up to 4 postdoctoral research associates for immediate positions. The research focus involves overcoming cancer resistance to EGFR and HER2 inhibitors and activating/reactivating p53 and its mutants. Collaborating with renowned scientists in pharmacology and drug abuse research, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with experts and develop an independent career in the research field.

    Required Qualifications:

    Applicants should possess a PhD, MD, or equivalent degree, along with proven skills and experience in cancer pharmacology and cancer biology. Expertise in cancer developmental therapeutics and drug resistance is essential. The ideal candidate will have a track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals, demonstrating significant findings and proficiency in various laboratory techniques. Experience with preclinical tumor models is highly desirable.

    This is a restricted position, and continued employment is dependent upon project need, funding availability, and performance.
