Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading classroom activities, mentoring support teachers, and fostering a nurturing environment that promotes children's growth and development. This role requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply Multiple Intelligences theory in classroom practice.
- Design, create, and assess innovative activities to enhance the curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress.
- Participate in after-school activities and school events.
- Observe, assess, and document students' growth and development.
- Manage classroom budgets and ensure supplies are well-maintained.
- Mentor and support the teaching team, providing guidance and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Education (early childhood education preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a lead teacher in a kindergarten.
- Native English speaker.
- Strong understanding of age-appropriate programming and child development.
- Excellent teaching, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience working with diverse cultures and family dynamics.
- Bilingual (English and Mandarin) is a plus.
