Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), established in 1896, stands as one of China's premier public universities under the direct governance of the Ministry of Education (MOE). Nestled in the vibrant city of Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province, XJTU has earned a distinguished reputation for excellence in higher education and cutting-edge scientific research.

As one of the earliest institutions to receive accreditation from AACSB International in China, XJTU holds a prominent position among the nation's top five universities. The School of Management (SOM) at XJTU, established in 1984, has emerged as a beacon of excellence in management education and research. In the third National Assessment of Key Disciplines conducted by the China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC) in 2012, the SOM achieved remarkable success. It secured first and second rankings nationwide for Business Administration and Management Science and Engineering, respectively, reaffirming its position as a leader in management education.

For nearly two decades, the SOM has consistently excelled in China's most authoritative ranking lists for management research and education. Offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, the SOM attracts approximately 1,000 students annually. This diverse cohort includes 120 undergraduates, 200 master's and doctoral candidates, 600 professional degree seekers, and 80-100 international students. Through its rigorous academic programs and innovative research endeavors, the SOM continues to shape the next generation of global business leaders and scholars, contributing to the advancement of management theory and practice on a global scale.
